Queens Park Rangers have suspended manager Jim Magilton following accusations that he headbutted midfielder Akos Buzsaky in the aftermath of his side's 3-1 defeat at Watford on Monday evening.
Despite taking the lead at Vicarage Road, QPR crashed to their second defeat in three days, following their 5-1 thumping at Loftus Road by Middlesbrough, and Magilton was far from impressed with his side's display.
This prompted the irate Irish manager to barricade the door closed in the away dressing room as he unleashed a furious rant at his players, with a fiery row breaking out between himself and Buzasky, according to the Daily Mail.
Following this unsavory incident, the perturbed Hungarian midfielder was seen wandering around the Watford stadium before retreating to a nearby public toilet to seek refuge.
Once the dust had settled, Magilton told Sky Sports this was merely a "difference of opinion."
"Anything that was said will be kept in-house," he later confirmed.
However, the QPR board feels differently and has taken action against their disgraced manager following allegations that Magilton headbutted Buzasky during the fracas in the changing room.
Meanwhile, the coaching staff are willing to stand by their manager with assistant boss, John Gorman, dismissing any claims of violence in the dressing room and is said to have refused to work at the club until Magilton is reinstated.
Rangers have recorded just one victory in their last seven games, a run that has seen them slip to 12th in the Championship table, but now it seems the club's internal affairs will dominate the media attention rather than their on pitch performances.
