Zoran Tosic's agent has denied rumours that the Serbian winger is set to leave Manchester United when the transfer window reopens, insisting that he will stay and fight for his place at Old Trafford.
Already 22, some United fans could have been forgiven for wondering why the hotly-tipped winger, who cost around £14million in a bundle deal with FK Partisan team-mate Adem Ljajic, has made only a handful of Carling Cup appearances.
A regular in the Serbia national squad, Tosic arrived with Ljajic in January, but while the latter has remained in his homeland and is excelling at the Serbian SuperLiga club, Tosic has been left kicking his heals in the United reserves.
But despite reported interest from former United assistant boss Steve McClaren at FC Twente, the player's agent Zoran Pavlovic has said that Tosic will persevere with his bid to break into the United first-team.
"Zoran is well in Manchester and he is staying at Manchester United," he told skysports.com.
"I have had no contact with FC Twente and Zoran is very happy at Manchester. He has three years left on his contract and he wants to fight for his place.
