Manchester United club captain Gary Neville has affirmed that his side are not scared of Chelsea, who they face on Sunday, but are wary of the threat posed by in-form hitman Didier Drogba.
The big Ivorian, 31, has produced some of the best form of his career so far this season, and is clearly relishing working under Carlo Ancelotti, just as he did under Guus Hiddink at the end of last season.
The Blues brute has hit 12 goals in his last 13 games, including a brace in the hard-fought 2-2 UEFA Champions League draw with Atletico Madrid, a result which ensured his club's progression to the knock-out pahse.
And Neville, who is suspended for the clash following his red card in the Carling Cup clash at Barnsley, asserted that while United didn't fear Chelsea, they are well aware of the threats posed by Ancelotti's side from a number of areas.
"We're not worried," Neville told the London Evening Standard.
"Of course we have to stop Drogba as well as Anelka, Lampard, Ballack and Deco. But we know their strengths. You have to deal with them. We will."
Meanwhile, Neville's United team-mate Darren Fletcher, who returned from injury in the dramatic 3-3 draw with CSKA Moscow at Old Trafford, revealed he is looking forward to Sunday's Stamford Bridge clash.
Fletcher has began to garner a reputation as one of United's key players, and his return from injury is perfectly timed, as he is one of Sir Alex Ferguson's preferred picks for clashes involving the so-called 'Big Four'.
"Sunday is a massive game, games against Chelsea always are," he told Sky Sports News.
"It is not going to make-or-break who wins the league by any means, although it is an important benchmark."
Fletcher also admitted that his side were yearning to finally pick up all three points at Stamford Bridge, having not done so in the league in recent years.
"Maybe psychologically it might have an effect. But Chelsea are a top-class side and we will respect them. It would be good to win.
"We have had a couple of draws down there but we have still not managed to win in the league and we are desperate to do it."
