Blackburn winger Morten Gamst Pedersen is being linked with a move to Scottish giants Celtic in the January transfer window.
The Norwegian international is a top target for Bhoys boss Tony Mowbray, and he is readying a big money bid to bring him to Celtic Park in January.
Pedersen, 28, is understood to be eager for a fresh challenge, and would welcome an approach from the Glasgow outfit.
Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is determined to hold on to some of his big name players, and doesn't want to see the man who has earned 54 international caps leave Ewood Park.
However, should a substantial bid be tabled by the Celtic hierarchy then a cash strapped Rovers are sure to listen.
Pedersen revealed that a move to a club plying their trade in the Champions League would be a dream, but he is fully aware that he is tied to Blackburn for the time being.
"(My agent) Rune Hauge takes care of all that. All I want to do is play football," he told Nettavisen.
"They are a big club in Europe. They play regularly in Europe and that is a bonus for all players," he said.
"I have never played in the Champions League and that is a dream for me, of course.
"At the same time, I will honour my contract with Blackburn."
